Mr* Wra. Reinhardt-3- and indicated that since he was in no hurry for water service, he would wait until Mr* Allen again returned to Las Vegas about the 26th or 27th, at which time he suggested that possibly the three of us could reach an agreement* It seems apparent that, notwithstanding the above, Mr, Fong has again contacted Mr. Allen with the result that Mr. Allen has written me the attached letter. The first paragraph of Mr, Allen*s letter quotes Rule 8, which reads as follows: rtAll service lines extending fro® mains to property lines and proper shut-off shall tained and owned by Water Compa nybe, “Installed, main­He then goes on to state that Mr, Fong should be advised that a 3/4- lnch tap and 50 ft. of service line would cost hi® #5, or a 1-ineh tap and 50 ft. of service line would cost hi® #20. With reference to page 11 of Tariff, Rule 8a , the last paragraph below section (d) states as follows: “Applicant shall pay the above charges or the estimated cost of said service line in advance,“ In the case at hand, a fair estimate of cost to install two 1-inoh taps and to construct two 1-inch service lines fro® 4- inch water main to north curb of Ogden Street is as follows: Material 100 ft. 1“ copper tubing #58.32 2 ea. corp. stops 4.81 2 0a. curb stops 5.80 2 ea. cuopling 2.00 2 ea. 90° bends 3.50 Rental of Eauioment Ditcher 12.50 Compressor 38.00 Labor 50.00 Replace Paving 125.00
