I agree.CONVENTION CENTER * LAS VEGAS, NEVADA PARADISE ROAD July 26, 1961 TO: Mr. Al Freeman, Publicist, Sands Hotel FROM: Desmond Kelly, Las Vegas Convention Bureau SUBJECT: VIP VISIT -- AMERICAN POULTRY AND HATCHERY FEDERATION We have been advised by Mr. Don M* Turnbull, Executive Secretary, American Poultry and Hatchery Federation, 521 East 63rd Street, Kansas City 10, Missouri, that they are seriously considering holding a Western #/.Q.u i ck i e/# Convention in Las Vegas on December I and 2, 1961, with an anticipated attendance of 150 men plus w i ves?╟≤ tie further advised that Mr. Ed Gray of APHF will be visiting Las Vegas, arriving on August 3 or 4# to inspect the hotel facilities for this proposed meeting* He will be staying at the Flamingo Hotel. Their basic requirements are sleeping accommodations for 150 to 200 persons, and a classroom style meeting room for 150. It may be that Mr. Gray will be inspecting the facilities of your hotel, and any courtesies extended to him will be greatly apprec iated. DK; sm
