Tri-City Construction Council, Columbia Basin News, Kennewick Exchange Club and The Building and Construction Trades Council are holding their second annual Home Show Apri 1 26, 27 & 28 of 1957. This show will be held in a large building located at the Pasco Airport which is located at one of the three cities called the Tri-Cities, namely, Richland, Kennewick and Pasco, Washington located in the Eastern Washington Columbia Basin# The sponsors of this show are running a contest to select a woman from this area to reign as Homemaker of the Year until the I958 show* The woman picked to be Homemaker of the Year will receive several thousand dollars worth of gifts and a two week all expense paid vacation for two in Las Yagas. This show will be advertised six weeks prior to the date it is being held by Television, Radio and Newspaper over an Area of one hundred square miles with a listening population of on?? hundred and twenty thousand. Last year1 s Show was attended by twenty-on?? thousand people and, by popular demand, this year it is being held in a building three times as large in which all space is contracted for by suppliers of building materials and related home products. The Hotel which is selected, for the Homemaker of th?? Year to stay at, will be given wide advertisement by the above mentioned media?½ and we would apprec- iate your advising us of th?? extent you would like to cooperate in this.
