I agree.Freeman company PUBLIC RELATIONS 10/18 Mr. Al Kaye Benton & Bowles 6253 Hollywood Blvd* Hollywood, California Bear Al, To summarise again, my thoughts on the idea of a TY spectacular from Las Yegas; I* I recommend the idea of Entratter doing the spectacular with the stars that only he can secure at reasonable TY salaries, rather than trying to get all the stars appearing in Las Yegas at the same time. 2. 1 recommend you set up a budget for talent for the show, and then let Entratter submit to you the plan of the program, Its theme, and its stars, 3. I recommend we try to do this show from the Bunes or Sands rather than try to stage it at one of the other hotels - while on the surface, this will appear to be a selfish idea inasmuch as I am the Press Agent for both places, the idea is advanced to you because I feel we could stage a better show for your money if we have full control of all facilities and production. Judging from demands made by the other hotels in discussions about similar television program proposals, I feel that to use another hotel's stage would cause that hotel to make excessive demands upon you for credits, exploitation, and even money for the use of their room because they would claim such use would cut down their revenue from the casino. 4. I feel Jack could draw you bigger and better performing stars than are actually booked in Las Yegas for any one particular time, and I believe it would be worthwhile to set up a budget for him and let him submit to you a proposed lineup of talent. Please let me know your comments on this and let*s kick it around a little more. If I werenH so deliberate in my conviction that Jack can deliver you a spectacular that would give you your money*s worth, you know I wouldn't be so specific in my statements.
