I agree.6/18/64 For immediate release: ENTRATTER PRESENTS RED SKELTON ART EXHIBITION AT SANDS Las Vegas, Nevada (June 18) ... An unusual art exhibition of 52 paintings by Red Skelton will be unveiled for the first time in the Sands Emerald Room starting Sunday, June 21 from 4 to 7 HI, it was announced today by Jack Entratter, Sands President. Skelton started painting about 15 years ago at the suggestion of his wife Georgia, herself an art enthusiast and art school graduate. It was under Georgia's guidance and inspiration that Skelton turned to painting to help with the rigors of a strenuous television and stage career. Skelton's paintings generally fall into three categories -people in general, still life and clowns. He generally paints six or seven works at a time, jumping from one to another whenever he loses interest or "the feel" of a work. His paintings will be on show in the Emerald Room every day from 4 to 7 PM from Sunday until the end of his current engagement at the Sands on July 14. # # # # A1 Freeman Sands/LV
