We have been further informed that on this occasion the Israel Menorah of Statehood first kindled by President Zalman Shazar in Jerusalem to herald Israel's twenty-fifth Anniversary will be relit, now containing twenty-six branches, in dedication and thanksgiving for Israel's continued growth from year to year. In preparation for this event a roster of distinguished leaders in the cause of Israel has been selected to parti-cipate. I am happy to advise you that you have been chosen to take part in this unique ceremonial filled with much meaning for Israel and world-Jewry. Minister Yariv will light the twenty-sixth candle. Between now and the Dinner, the Committee will relay to you the protocol of the ceremony and the part you will be invited to play. For the present, permit me to congrat-ulate you on this high honor for which you have been chosen, which your devotion to Israel through the years has so richly merited.
