I agree.Revised "Off Season" Show Proposal After receiving the information that we are required to hire four band members, I have tried to make additional cuts in an effort to arrive at a weekly budget that is near the price range we had previously discussed. In this proposal, we have female dancers, a boy that dances and sings, a male dancer, an adagio team, and a comic. The manner in which I propose to combine and utilize these elements will make a small, but very exciting package, giving you a 'cabaret- style1 show based on talent and ideas rather than a hand-ful of girls performing dance combinations to fill up time. I can do this show with three 'stage crew' members by using my three best men, which are the stage manager, his assistant, and our best stage hand. If I had to use other crew members, I would need five to do the work of these three. For this particular show, Derrick Dean, the comic, has agreed to take a $200.00 per week cut in salary on the stipulation that when "Soiree" is re-instated, he will continue to receive his regular salary of $1,500.00. He has agreed to do not only his stand-up comedy spots, but also a comedy juggling spot. He also has the flexibility of doing a spot with his wife. This gives us two or three acts in one.
