    Hotel-Motel Meeting Mapped Here Plans for the September meeting of the Utah-Nevada-Idaho Hotel and Motel Association were completed in Las Vegas yesterday, during a meeting of the association?╟╓s directors at the Sands Hotel. The meeting will be held Sept. 18-20 in Salt Lake City with a large number of Las Vegas delegates expected to attend. Lloyd Cope, resident manager of the Sands and chairman of the association board of direc- tors,: said growing interest has been shown in the organization and more lhan ohe hundred hotels and motels in the three-state area are.now represented. Cope said that delegates hold one major convention-work ses- HOTEL-MOTEL MANAGERS MEET?╟÷The board of directors of the Utah-Nevada-Idaho Hotel and Motel Association held a meeting in the Sands Hotel yesterday to discuss its Fall convention. Attending were, from left, Mike Lindeck, Sahara Hotel; Richard Williams, Towne House Hotel, Salt Lake City; H. H. Bode, Moscow Hotel, Moscow, Idaho; Oren Probert, Commercial Hotel, Elko; Robert Cannon, Tropicana Hotel; John J. Pengilly, Downtown Hotel, Boise, Idaho; Henry Aloia, Hotel Utah, Salt Lake City; Hollis Hammond and Hal Thomas, representatives of the Western America Hotel and Motel Association, and C. L. West, Temple Square Hotel, Salt Lake City. Also active from Las Vegas is Dick Chappelle of the Riviera who is not pictured. sion every year and remain in contact the rest of the. year through news letters and individual correspondence. At the convention .delegates discuss mutual problems, new techniques in hotel management and a wide variety of other topics which range from linen service to insurance coverage. Some of the topics are dealt with in panel discussions while others are . covered by a speaker who is an authority on the, subject. During the, meeting at the Sands, members of the board of directors ('including Robert -Can- j non of the Tropicana, Mike Lindeck of the Sahara and Cope, representing Las Vegas), discussed the foremat to be used during the Salt Lake City meeting and also reviewed other aspects of the coming convention. Cope said he was expecting nearly ail of the member hotels and motels to be represented at the meeetings. A numbr of new members are also expected to join the association at the convention.?
