Upon motion of Commissioner Griffith and seconded by Commissioner Smith, the following resolution was duly adopted: Resolved that permission is hereby granted to Lon Grosbeck to conduct a retail liquor establishment at the Northern Hotel on Freemont Street in the City of Las Vegas for the year beginning January 1, 1914, and ending December 31st, 1914, and that the City Clerk be and he is hereby ordered to issue a license to said Lon Grosbeck upon the payment to him of the sum required for said retail liquor establishment license. The vote upon said resolution was as follows: Commissioners Griffith, aye, Curtiss, aye, Smith, aye, Sullivan, aye, and his honor the Mayor W. E. Hawkins, aye. Upon motion of commissioner Sullivan and seconded by Commissioner Griffith, the following resolution was duly adopted: Resolved that permission is hereby granted to Peccetto & Gragalia to conduct a retail liquor establishment at the union Hotel on Main Street in the City of Las Vegas, for the year beginning January 1, 1914, and ending December 31st, 1914, and that the City Clerk be and he is hereby ordered to issue a license to said Peccetto & Gragalia upon the payment to him of the sum required for said retail liquor establishment license. The vote on said resolution was as follows: Commissioners Griffith, aye, Curtiss, aye, Smith, aye, Sullivan, aye, and his honor the Mayor W. E. Hawkins, aye. Miller, upon the payment to him of the sum required for said retail liquor establishment license.
