Is an independent firm and would not be able to supply in conjunction with another source. Rental - 75?· per day. Bob Chambers said these were the only two possibilities for a local firm. Los Angeles: In calling several, the same information was given: Abbey Rents would be the only one in Los Angeles to supply such a large number. They are the largest rental agency in the world and headquarter in Los Angeles. Spoke to Harry Eckles at Abbey (213/467-7124): 1. Abbey can supply the 100 bridge tables; more or less, if needed. 2. Rental rate - $1.90 per day per table. ($190.00!?½x 5 days = $950.) 3. Would be shipped freight collect and must be returned promptly prepaid. No extra charge on the $1.90 rate for shipping time. 4. Approximate shipping cost: $120. ($60. each way); each table nigkii weighs approx. 19| lbs. (Railway Express) 5.
