SAID UNPAID ASSESSMENT BY DIVIDING THE SAME INTO TEN (10) ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS AND PLACING SAID INSTALLMENTS ON THE TAX ROLL OF CLARK COUNTY AND COLLECTING THE SAME IN THE SAME MAN­NER AS STATE AND COUNTY TAXES ARE COLLECTED BY LAW, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO, was read in full to the Board. Thereafter Commissioner Peccole moved the foregoing Ordinance No. 426 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the fol­lowing vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. An ordinance entitled: AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE AUTHORIZATION AND ISSUANCE OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS BOULDER DAM HOMESITES ADDITION SANITARY SEWER BONDS IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $29,650.54 TO COVER CERTAIN UNPAID ASSESSMENTS HERETO­FORE LEVIED AND CONFIRMED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING FOR THE WORK OF MAK­ING IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS BY INSTALLING A SANI­TARY SEWER IN CERTAIN STREETS AND PORTIONS OF STREETS IN SAID CITY AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT AS CREATED BY ORDINANCE NO. 399, AND TO ISSUE AND SELL THE BONDS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS THEREFOR, SAID BONDS TO BE KNOWN AS LAS VEGAS BOULDER DAM HOMESITES ADDITION SANITARY SEWER BONDS AND PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION OF THE SAID UNPAID ASSESSMENT BY DIVIDING THE SAME INTO TEN (10) ANNUAL INSTAL­LMENTS AND PLACING SAID INSTALLMENTS ON THE TAX ROLL OF CLARK COUNTY AND COLLECTING THE SAME IN THE SAME MANNER AS STATE AND COUNTY TAXES ARE COLLECTED BY LAW, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO, was read in full to the Board. Thereafter Commissioner Peccole moved the foregoing Ordinance No. 427 be adopted. An ordinance entitled: AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE AUTHORIZATION AND ISSUANCE OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS WEST CHARLESTON BOULEVARD SANITARY SEWER BONDS IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $25,391.96 TO COVER CERTAIN UNPAID ASSESSMENTS HERETOFORE LEVIED AND CONFIRMED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING FOR THE WORK OF MAKING IM­PROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS BY INSTALLING A SANITARY SEWER IN CERTAIN STREETS AND PORTIONS OF STREETS IN SAID CITY AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT AS CREATED BY ORDINANCE NO. 400, AND TO ISSUE AND SELL THE BONDS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS THEREFOR, SAID BONDS TO BE KNOWN AS LAS VEGAS WEST CHARLESTON BOULEVARD SANITARY SEWER BONDS AND PROVI­DING FOR THE COLLECTION OF THE SAID UNPAID ASSESSMENT BY DIVIDING THE SAME INTO TEN (10) ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS AND PLACING SAID IN­STALLMENTS ON THE TAX ROLL OF CLARK COUNTY AND COLLECTING THE SAME IN THE SAME MANNER AS STATE AND COUNTY TAXES ARE COLLECTED BY LAW, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO, was read in full to the board. Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved the foregoing entitled Ordinance No. 428 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the fol­lowing vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTIONS 8, 9 AND 10 OF ORDINANCE NO. 313 OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS ENTITLED; "AN ORDINANCE DEFINING GARBAGE, RUBBISH, DIRT, AND DEAD ANIMALS; RE­GULATING THE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE, RUBBISH, DIRT AND DEAD ANIMALS IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; THE FEES TO BE PAID THEREFOR, AND MATTERS RELATING THERETO; AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS THEREOF; AND REPEALING OR­DINANCES NO. 138 AND NO. 267, AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH." ALSO REFERRED TO AS SECTIONS 8, 12, AND 14 OF CHAPTER 14 OF THE LAS VEGAS CODE, was read by title to the Board and re­ferred to Commissioners Peccole and Whipple for recommendation. Commissioner Peccole moved that City Manager C. W. Shelley be authorized to prorate Nevada Construction Company's contract to 640 lineal feet and two man holes in Boulder Dam Homesite Addition, the same being covered in the present contract with Nevada Con­struction Company, and to authorize the completion of that por­tion, the funds having been received for payment of same.
