Others to be saluted are Sam- my Baugh, football; Don Budge, tennis; Peter De Paolo, auto | racing; Paul Endicott, basket- ball; Bob Feller, baseball; Ted Lindsay, ke hockey; Rocky | Marciano, boxing; Lloyd Man- jgrum, golf, Cornelius Warmer- dam, track and field, and C.K. This year?╟╓s show honors 4?╟ championship performers whose performances and exem- plary personal conduct have served as an inspiration to peo- ple in all walks of life,?╟Ñ accord- ing to the citations. A native Californian, Dr. Lee first rose to sports fame when he won the National AAU out- door platform diving champion- ship in 1940, representing OccL, dental College. He won gold medals in diving at both the 1948 and 1952 Olympics and in 1953 was awarded the James E. Sullivan Award which annually goes to the American athlete ?╟úwho did the most to advance the cause of good sportsman- ship.?╟╓* After serving in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, Dr. Lee began his medical practice in Santa Ana, where be is an ear- nose-throat specialist.
