Wendy Kraft

Wendy Ruth (née Gateman) Kraft is the co-founder with Laura Sussman of Kraft-Sussman Funeral and Cremation Services in Las Vegas.

Wendy grew up in Andover, Massachusetts, and moved to Las Vegas in 1999. Accustomed to volunteering and being active in the Boston area Jewish community, it was a natural fit for her to involve herself in a similar fashion in Las Vegas. She has been involved in Women’s Philanthropy, the Jewish Community Center and Hadassah among many other organizations.

In 2009, Wendy and her partner, Laura Sussman, opened their funeral services business. Though they serve people of all denominations, their faith and Jewish customs are extremely important. Individually and as a couple they also participate actively in the LGBT community.

In 2015, the two married. They have three daughters: Leah Sussman, Emma and Elyse Kraft.
