Ed Bernstein
Edward M. Bernstein (1949- ) is a personal injury attorney in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from Long Island University in New York with his bachelor’s degree in 1971 and completed his law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1975. Bernstein moved to Southern Nevada in 1976, where he took a job in Las Vegas as a public defender and in 1977 formed his own firm, Ed Bernstein & Associates. Aside from managing a law practice, Bernstein also hosts Nevada’s longest-running television talk show, The Ed Bernstein Show, since 1989. He previously served as an alternate judge for both the City of Las Vegas Municipal Court and the City of North Las Vegas, and in 2000 he ran for United States Senate but lost to Republican John Ensign.
Bernstein is active in many community organizations including Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), the Committed 100 Men, the National Conference (formerly the National Conference of Christians and Jews), the Anti-Defamation League, Temple Beth Sholom, and the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas. He served as president of Temple Beth Sholom from 1991 to 1994 and was also previously director of the Jewish Federation.
