Dear Friend.
line

The usual routine of my

labor usually finds me writing
line

from Saturday night until
line
8
Monday night. I do not
line
9
mean one continual string
line
10
of writing but that is my
line
11
principal work. To night
line
12
I take great pleasure in

Also was I very much pained

to hear of the deth of Bishop

it, it seems so unnatural line 8
for a man to be taken line 9
away so sudenly, What a line 10
great loss he will be to his line 11
beloved ones. I will not awaken line 12
in your mind the pitying line 13
seens you have almost forced line 14

My aunt Agness from Ogden line 1
has been up here working in line 2
the Temple the past two line 3
weeks, She left this morning line 4
for home. I was down to line 5
Aunt Sarahs last night to line 6
visit awhile And the folks were line 7
quite anxious to find out line 8
how I became acquainted line 9
with you, living so far apart. line 10
I think when they got line 11
through with me they were line 12
just as much unsatisfide as when they started in for I told them anything but the truth. For instance, I said you were a school teacher and I used to go to your school.
It is now half past eleven so perhaps I had better stop for you will be sleepy It seems to me you always sent me home about ten, but to night is an exeption,.
Oh yes! while I think of it I wish to ask what day you calculate to leave Provo Good night and happy dreams.
Sunday morning:
I will try and finish the letter I started last night
To day and to morrow will
be conference with us. We are expecting Bro. Woodruf up from the City to instruct us.

Dear friend Ma/y
line 6
chances are I will accompany
line 7
you home as far as Milford
line 8
if I can learn just when
line 9
you get ready to go. I have
line 10
partly made up my mind
line 11
to leave before commencement

week. I do not know whether
line 13
President will like it or not,
line 14
as he wished all to stay that
line 15
could and those who did go
line 16
home he wished to come back

so I fear he will object.

It is now church time

so I must again postpone
line 3
writing.
line 4
I have attended both
line 5
meetings to day and expect
line 6
to go to another this even-
line 7
ing. I think I have
line 8
written about enough for
line 9
once, and I think you
line 10
will think the same
line 11
when you see how scater-
line 12
ing my thoughts have
line 13
been.
line 14
With love and best

wishes I remain as
