TO:
FROM:
MS. SANDRA WILLIAMS
ROOSEVELT FITZGERALD, DIRECTOR
ETHNIC STUDIES
RE: RECOMMENDATION FOR FRANCIS MIDDLETON
The intent of this correspondence is to recommend Mrs. Francis Middleton
for the position of counselor with your office.
I have known the applicant for several years. She has enrolled in many
of my classes and has always done a superb job. I have found her to be
responsible, punctual, well prepared and attentive. She is the kind of
student every professor wishes would fill all classes.
Not only is she a good student of the subject matter but is conversant
in other areas as well. Further, she is honest, loyal and dependable.
She works well with people and this is due in large part to her outgoing
personality. She is capable of focusing on a task and seeing it through.
She is both non-threating nor is she threatened. She is one of the very
few students that I have known in my career who does not seem to be intimidated
by tense situations.
I am certain that she would serve well as a liasion between the university
and the schools. She interacts well with young students and, due to her
own experiences and maturity would be able to do the same with parents.
Based on my understanding of the position I am confident that she is the
perfect candidate for the job.
I highly recommend her.
