Bio taken from Wiki Page: "The American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) is the governing body for contract bridge in the United States, Mexico, Bermuda and Canada and is a member of the World Bridge Federation, the international bridge governing body.[1] It is the largest such organization in North America.[2] having the stated mission "to promote, grow and sustain the game of bridge and serve the bridge-related interests of our Members." Besides representing the interests of its members with the World Bridge Federation, its major activities are sanctioning games at local bridge clubs and regional events, certifying bridge teachers and club directors, conducting the North American Bridge Championships (NABC), providing education materials and services, administering a masterpoints system for tracking player performance, and providing oversight for ethical behaviour and play. As of 2016, it had more than 168,000 members."
