The Thalia Dondero Political Papers (1934-2003), contain correspondence, pamphlets and reports used by Dondero to conduct official business, as well as information on county and city budgets, social and health services, liquor and gaming, planning, public works, environmental impact reports and a large section on water management. Dondero served as a Clark County Commissioner for twenty years and engaged in numerous other civic and political activities. The bulk of the materials are derived from Dondero's last four years in office, 1990-1994, but a few items from Dondero's earlier career are included.
Flora Dungan Papers (1929-1974) contain high school and university records, certificates, newspaper clippings, press releases, notes, correspondence, and booklets about her life and political activism in Nevada. Also included are Legislative materials, an audio cassette tape, a copy of the Nevada Constitution, and an oil painting of Flora Dungan.
The collection dates from 1926 to 1957. It is comprised of newspaper clippings, correspondence, and memorabilia gathered by Mrs. E. W. Cragin, wife of former Las Vegas Mayor Ernie W. Cragin. The collection includes information about public relations activities of the former mayor and his wife including the christening of the cargo ship the Las Vegas Victory.
The James H. Down Sr. Scrapbooks (1933-1979) contain newspaper clippings and political advertisements about his political and civic involvement in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Thomas McLaughlin Papers (1937-1985) are comprised of newspaper clippings, photographs, and correspondence about real estate, the Clark County Democratic Party, and local fraternal organizations, especially the Knights of Columbus and the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick in Las Vegas, Nevada. Materials also include some clippings on McLaughlin's appointment as trustee of the Las Vegas Park Racetrack in 1955.

This series is comprised of Mark Fine's awards, event programs, correspondence, and other personal papers and ephemera from 1920 to 2014. Certificates and event programs from 2001 to 2014 document awards and honors bestowed upon Fine in recognition of his accomplishments in real estate development in Southern Nevada and his commitment to the Las Vegas community, especially the Clark County School District. The 2007 application and supporting documents for the naming of the Mark L. Fine Elementary School include a comprehensive biography of Fine, letters of support, and references. A 2012 picture book about Mark Fine, entitled A Hero Named Mark, is also included in the series. There is one folder of correspondence from 1982 to 1989 consisting of some letters and holiday cards, mainly from politicians thanking him for his support. Other ephemera from 1964 to 1990 includes: two programs from Fine’s high school graduation, a 1967 Zeta Beta Tau fraternity booklet featuring a picture of Mark Fine in college, his 1976 realtor license, a color image of a "Mark Fine for Mayor" bumper sticker, two of his business cards, and undated photographs of his home. Genealogical information about the Zolloto family from 1873 to 2011 is documented by a family tree, copies of marriage certificates, and an electronic copy of family minutes.
