Frost, Florence, 1929-

Florence Frost was born March 24, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York. She married Robert L. Frost in 1949 and had three daughters. Not long after she moved from New York City to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1960, she joined Temple Beth Sholom, where she worked as an executive secretary for two years. Frost worked in the banking industry for many years before she earned her broker's license in 1974. That same year, she opened her own real estate office in Las Vegas, Rancho Rodeo Realty, which she owned until 2004.

Bailey, Anna (Anna E.) (1921-2005)

Anna Bailey was born May 14, 1921 in Savannah, Georgia. Bailey arrived in Las Vegas in 1955 to perform as a dancer for the opening of the Moulin Rouge Hotel and Casino. Six months later the Rouge closed, leaving both Anna and her husband, Bob, without work, since Bob had been the house singer and emcee at the Hotel. Nevertheless, Anna and Bob decided to make Las Vegas their home, convinced in the growth potential of the city.

Lee, Gregory T. H., 1964-

As Chairman and CEO of the Eureka Casino Resort, Gregory Lee’s involvement and impact on the Mesquite community will reverberate for generations. Although he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, his ambitions starting from an early age led him to live with his business-oriented father in San Francisco, California. His journey eventually led him to attend Saint Paul’s School and Harvard College.

Van Cleef, Lee, 1925-1989

Notorious Western film villian Lee Van Cleef was born Clarence Leroy Van Cleef Jr. in Somerville, New Jersey to Marion Lavinia Gilbert Van Fleet and Clarence Leroy Van Cleef Sr. on January 9, 1925. Van Cleef attended Somerville High School before dropping out in order to elist in the United States Nacy in 1942. He worked as a sonarman on the U. S. S. Incredible in Mediterranean Sea, before moving to sweeping seabeds near Russia.

Elliott, Estrellita

"Interviewed by Vanessa Concepcion and Stefani Evans. Twins Estrellita "Estelle" and Julieta "Julia" Elliott were born in Manila and raised in Cebu City by their maternal grandparents. Their lawyer grandfather and Spanish professor grandmother raised them with a tricultural identity (Spanish, Filipino, and American) but with emphasis on their Castilian Spanish heritage. When they were twelve and their grandfather died, they went to live with their parents in Maryland, where their father was an educator and author and their mother was a concert pianist.
