The Scrapbook Materials series dates from 1940s to 1990s and consists of folders filled with newspaper clippings, photographs, and other materials saved for scrapbooks by Eileen Brookman. There is also a folder of awards and certificates. There are neither bound nor completed scrapbooks in this series.
The Political Materials series dates from 1949 to 1993 and documents Eileen Brookman's political work. It contains information about the Nevada legislature and information about political issues. It also includes materials from the White House Conference on Aging which Brookman attended as a representative of Nevada.
The 2005 Addition series consists of materials added to the collection from the Brookman Estate after Eileen Brookman's death in July 2004 and contains materials dating from 1965 to 2002. This series includes Assembly bills Brookman worked on, bills she sponsored, and her state Assembly vehicle license plates.
The Personal Papers series dates from 1934 to 1993 and consists of information about Eileen Brookman's personal life, family, community involvement, and political career. The series includes photographs, family papers, and records of Brookman's work with B'nai B'rith, the Jewish community service organization. Personal materials from her political career include speech drafts, election returns, and business cards.
The politicians and political campaign photographs depict politicians in Southern Nevada from 1962 to 1992. The photographs include U.S. Senators Howard Cannon and Alan Bible; Nevada Governors Paul Laxalt, Grant Sawyer, and Mike O’Callaghan; Las Vegas Mayors Oran K. Gragson and William Briare; Nevada Assembly member Eileen Brookman; and political campaign publicity.
