Constructed as decorative fundraiser for the Temple Beth Sholom Sisterhood, the wall has remained a fixture in the former temple building at 1600 E. Oakey Blvd. The facility now houses the Innovations International Charter School of Nevada.

Oral history interview with Dedee Nave conducted by Claytee D. White on June 08, 2015 and July 02, 2015 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Nave discusses her work with the Junior League, Camp Fire Girls, and as an official decorator for several politicians in the Nevada State Arts Council. She also talks about volunteering for various organizations like the Lied Children's Discovery Museum and Morelli House programs.

Abstract

Oral history interview with Jane Greenspun Gale conducted by Barbara Tabach on January 31, 2018 and February 09, 2018 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Gale recalls attending Las Vegas High School, desegregation of schools, and what is was like growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1960s. Gale then recalls the anti-war position taken by the Las Vegas Sun, her decision to attend the 1968 Democratic National Convention, and her legal suit against the state of Nevada for the right of eighteen year olds to vote. In her second interview, she discusses the Nevada Test Site, and protests of the 1980s.
