The mission of Chabad of Summerlin is to connect with Jews in the Las Vegas Valley, whether affiliated or unaffiliated, to develop and expand their Jewish identity, learning, practice, and commitment with creativity and energy through the Chabad teachings of love and activism bringing vitality to a long time honored tradition.
Bejamin Lesser escaped Poland to temporary safety in Hungary in 1943. He was sent to Auschwitz-Birkenau, and other concentration camps. He survived and was liberated from Dachau in 1945.
