This series of photographs documents the historic water overflow at Hoover Dam as seen from the Arizona side of the dam. Taken in August of 1983, this overflow marked the first time the spillways were used during a flood. After initially being filled, the spillways were tested once in August of 1941.

Collection is comprised of the papers of Diana Crites dating from 1976 to 1990 and includes poems, short stories, two novels, and many recipes and recipe booklets published for the Nevada Power Company (NPC). Also included are an in-house NPC phonebook, a booklet on the operations center for NPC, news clippings, and power saving instruction materials.
The papers in this collection date from 1979 to 1996 and document the legislative activities of Mike Malone, a former Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer. He served as a Nevada State Assemblyman from 1979 to 1985 and a State Senator from 1986 to 1990. The papers highlight the work of the committees Malone was on during his time in the legislature, and include senate and assembly bills, campaign materials, newspaper clippings, and minute books, primarily from the 1983 and 1989 legislative sessions.

The Las Vegas Philharmonic Orchestra Publications (1998-2013) primarily includes programs from the orchestra's seasons as well as for special concerts like the 4th of July, Soiree, and other one-time special events. Also included in this collection are copies of the orchestra's newsletter, Con Brio.
The collection consists of seven numbered art prints, hand signed by Arizona artist, Erni Cabat, with accompanying certificates of authenticity. The prints were created from original gouache paintings of scenes from casino life, and distributed by Nevada Magazine to mark the 50th anniversary of gambling in Nevada in 1981.
Oral history interview with Stefani Evans conducted by Claytee D. White and Barbara Tabach on November 21, 2017 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project. In this interview, Stefani Evans discusses how she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1980 with her husband and her feelings associated with the city, especially after the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting. She describes in detail how she found out about the traumatic event as well as her experience of waiting all day to donate blood on October 2, 2017, the day after the shooting. Mostly, Evans explains with emphasis the good of humanity that she witnessed during the aftermath of that tragedy.
