The Desert Inn "Black Book" Photograph Collection (1955-1969) consists of 36 black-and-white photographs of individuals arrestest for gambling-related crimes in Reno, Sparks, and Las Vegas, Nevada and Oakland, California. The photographs contain information on the verso with name, date of birth, crime(s) committeed, and known aliases and associates and where gathered by Desert Inn security. These types of photographs were widely circulated amongst casinos, particularly after the formation of the Gaming Control Board in 1955 and the Gaming Control Act in 1959. Crimes listed include slot spooner, slot slugger, dice switcher, and hand mucker.
The Burrell C. Lawton Photograph Collection on the Hoover Dam depicts the construction of the Hoover (Boulder) Dam on the Colorado River near Las Vegas, Nevada from 1931 to 1934. The photographs primarily depict workers, construction equipment, and the progression of the dam's concrete structures. The photographs also depict construction of diversion tunnels, bridges, the gravel plant, the intake towers, and the concrete mixing plant.

The Boulder City 31ers Photograph Collection depicts the construction of the Hoover (Boulder) Dam and the development of Boulder City, Nevada from 1930 to 1987. The photographs primarily depict construction of the Hoover Dam, but they also depict workers, dormitories, the Colorado River, stores, and Black Canyon.
The Ward Lindquist Photograph Collection on Lake Mead (approximately 1945-1956) contains black-and-white photographic prints and negatives primarily from Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, both located in both Arizona and Nevada. The images depict recreational activities at Lake Mead, namely fishing, swimming, boating, and camping. The remaining images depict the exterior and interior of Hoover Dam, as well as nature and wildlife in southern Nevada.
