Abstract
The Las Vegas Fiber Arts Guild Records (approximately 1967-2023) are comprised of materials documenting the activities of the Fiber Arts Guild since the late 1960s. Materials include the guild's newsletter dating back to 1969, bylaws, membership information, photographs of events, and programs organized by the guild, such as "Dye in the Mountains." Also included in the records are evaluations of weave samples along with dye recipes and fabric samples.

Scope and Contents
The affiliated and subsidiary companies sub-series (1930-1975) consist of corporate materials from companies associated with or operated beneath companies owned by Howard Hughes. These materials primarily include administrative records detailing the management of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) and Hughes Aircraft Company (HAC). Materials for HHMI are dated from 1954 to 1962 and include reports, administrative correspondence, records of proceedings held with the United States Internal Revenue Service, and a manuscript of the institute’s goals and accomplishments. The HAC materials are dated from 1930 to 1975 and include a board-mounted floor plan for a temporary television studio, records from a congressional hearing regarding the HAC, reports for the development of high-speed cameras and a satellite, and schematic drawings for camera equipment.

Special "Global Noon Hour" segment on Las Vegas, specifically the Stardust Hotel. Begins with the host asking Jim Seagrave (Vice President of Operations) questions about the hotel/casino inside the casino. Seagrave gives some history to the hotel, and talks about how much it has grown and changed. He speaks about the "Lido" being the longest running show until it closed at 1991, and also discusses their location on the Strip being an exciting place to be at the moment with Steve Wynn's new project being constructed. They talk about about new features, including themed slot machines and million-dollar jackpots.The host then speaks with a Stardust dealer who walks through various games, including craps and blackjack. He speaks with a pit boss, who explains what they do and a bit about the Stardust player's club. They visit the Stardust Race and Sports Book, and discuss how it works and which sports are most popular. The next segment the host speaks with the general manager and hosts of William B's, a fine dining establishment. The host speaks with a waiter who has been with the restaurant since 1963, and he shares celebrities who have dined at the restaurant over the years. Also included are views of Harrah’s Nevada properties including Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Hotel and Casino, Harrah’s Reno Hotel and Casino, and the Holiday Inn Hotel and Casino (that later became Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino).

The Ray Cutright Collection of Winthrop A. Davis Photographs (approximately 1929-1939) consists of black-and-white photographic prints with some corresponding negatives and slides of the construction of Hoover Dam and the geographic terrain of southern Nevada during the early 1930s. Included are photographs of the geographic area around the dam site, Black Canyon, and Boulder City, Nevada. Photographs depict the construction of facilities and roads needed for the project.
