Stephen Craig Ronshaugen was born on March 22, 1948, in Minot, North Dakota. Stephen married Bonita on February 10, 1979, and they had two children: Matthew and Kristina.
Ronshaugen obtained a bachelor of arts degree from Minot State University. He also did some graduate work at the North Dakota State University.
On March 15, 1976, Stephen Kalish interviewed Alfred “Al” Isola (born August 3rd, 1917 in Oakland, California) in his office about his garbage company and early Southern Nevada. The two discuss Las Vegas’ lack of a unified garbage system and how dumping sites have had to adjust their practices in order to limit their impact on pollution. Isola also explains the different disposal protocols for wet and dry trash. On the second tape of the interview, an unidentified woman enters the conversation.
Local news reports on a fatal plane crask during a simulated"dog fight". Wayne Pollack (NTSB Investigator) provided some information about the crash and status of the plane prior to crash. Interview with witness of the crash, and speculation about why the plane crashed is discussed. Footage of the crash site are shown, and information about the victim's families are also shared. Second segment discusses the identities of the two victims, and states the FAA is continuing the investigation. Third segment also reports on the identities of the victims, and state it is still under investigation. Desert Aces, the company, does not comment.
