The Fercos Family Publicity Collection (approximately 1978-1989) contains newspaper articles, advertisements, and a poster promoting the Flying Fercos, a family of juggling and acrobatic performers who performed in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Dunes Hotel during the 1970s and 1980s. The materials document the Fercos family's act as part of producer Frederic Apcar's shows such as Casino de Paris and Hot Shock.
The Las Vegas Board of City Commissioners Records Regarding Water Supply (1927-1940) include correspondence, resolutions, petitions, application for a permit, and newspaper clippings. The records concern water shortages in the City of Las Vegas, Nevada due in part to wasteful water usage and many of the documents refer to City Ordinance No. 247. Several items are signed by Walter R. Bracken, Vice President and Agent of the Company, and A. M. Folger, Assistant Agent.
The Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Collection (1951-1977) contains publicity books, scrapbooks, community service records, newspaper clippings, correspondence, photographs, and newsletters pertaining primarily to the Fred S. Pennington post no. 1753 Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Las Vegas, Nevada and the associated local chapter of the American War Mothers organization. The Ladies Auxiliary and the American War Mothers are non-profit organizations that assist in providing support and services to veterans and active service members. This material was formerly known as the Luanna Mitchell Collection.

The Veterans History Project files document the efforts of the Library of Congress Veterans History Project and the National D-Day Museum to organize and plan a public history project about Native American veteran representation in the public discourse. Materials date from approximately 2002 to 2004. The subseries includes a registry for Native American service people; an interview list; notes on the process and meetings of the organization; materials about the Mississippi Band of Choctaw including journal articles, promotional materials, and a resume; Dr. Spilde’s research photographs of World War II monuments, memorials, and the National D-Day Museum; and agendas, correspondence, business cards, a button, and newspaper articles.
