Sandy Mallin grew up in New York and graduated from New Rochelle High School. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada from Westchester County, New York in 1977 with her first husband, who wanted to expand his wholesale seafood business. The couple had three children but were later divorced. Mallin was a leader in Las Vegas’ Jewish community and the first female President of Temple Beth Sholom.
Roberta Sabbath was born on December 23, 1943 in Richmond, Virginia. She received her bachelor's degree in French Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1965 and married Dennis Sabbath in 1967. The couple spent two years in Chicago, Illinois before moving to Kodiak, Alaska in 1969 where she started an adult basic education program and a youth program. After about two years in Alaska, Sabbath and her husband moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Florence Frost was born March 24, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York. She married Robert L. Frost in 1949 and had three daughters. Not long after she moved from New York City to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1960, she joined Temple Beth Sholom, where she worked as an executive secretary for two years. Frost worked in the banking industry for many years before she earned her broker's license in 1974. That same year, she opened her own real estate office in Las Vegas, Rancho Rodeo Realty, which she owned until 2004.
