Dr. Catherine Bellver is Distinguished Professor of Spanish at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her work has appeared in many scholarly journals. She worked over fifteen years to create the Women's Studies Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Bellver also worked with a volunteer group to create and staff the first Women's Center on campus.
John H. Pappas was born in Greece on March 15, 1888. He moved to the United States in 1904, and eventually settled in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1929 where he worked on railroad construction and later the Hoover (Boulder) Dam construction. He passed away in Nevada in August 1981.

Althea Wilhelmina Losky was born to Sarah Milton and Charles Losky in West Monroe, New York on March 22, 1908. She married Howard Ungleich on July 23, 1927 and they had one son, Frederick, born on June 20, 1929. She went by the name Billie and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in approximately 1948 where she worked as a governess for Marion B. Hicks. She later worked as an executive housekeeper at the Thunderbird. She married Fred Grace in by the late 1950s and the couple lived in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Barbara Agonia was born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1934. She graduated from Hanover College in southern Indiana in 1957 with a double major in English and speech/theater. Barbara taught English, speech, and theater in Illinois. In 1969, Barbara moved to Las Vegas where her sister lived and enrolled in a master's degree program in English at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As she was completing her degree in 1971, she was hired by the Clark County Community College, which is now the College of Southern Nevada.
Catherine Perroitti was born on October 24, 1893 in New Jersey. She later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and worked as a registered nurse. Perroitti passed away on September 29, 1987.
