Robert "Bob" Friedlander was a professional arranger, composer, and conductor, and has arranged for such big bands as Harry James, Sam Donahue, Richard Maltby, Ralph Flanagan, and Johnny Long. He

provided music for Grace Kelly's wedding in Monaco, and Mike Todd's birthday party for Elizabeth Taylor. He was assistant arranger to George Williams on the Jackie Gleason show. Born in Baldwin, New York, Bob became interested in music at a young age. Friedlander's arrangements were frequently included on recordings featuring Artie Shaw, Ray Anthony, Ted Heath, and other well-known musicians in the midtwentieth century.

Friedlander passed away in 2015.
