Oral history interview with Connie Hill Sheldon conducted by Claytee D. White on February 11, 2013 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Sheldon talks about military life in New York City, New York, her driving a school bus in Havelock, North Carolina, being a preschool teacher in Mission Viejo, California, and her jobs at the Huntridge Theater, the Nevada Test Site, and at Reynolds Electrical and Engineering Company, Inc.

Oral history interview with Dr. John P. Watkins conducted by Claytee D. White on April 29, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Dr. Watkins talks about his schooling, his medical career, and medicine and medical practitioners in Las Vegas, Nevada from the mid-1950s. He recalls how he met his wife, Frances (née) O’Rourke, and the Las Vegas places he, Frances, and their sons John and Brian lived. In particular, he describes their Desert Inn Country Club neighbors and neighborhood, where he and his family lived for fourteen years. He then discusses Las Vegas as a gateway to outdoor activities.

Oral history interview with Gordon Smith conducted by Claytee D. White on January 29, 2013 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Smith discusses school and after-school pursuits, changes in Las Vegas, Nevada, summer jobs, and college. He also talks about his military service and returning to Las Vegas to start a barbering business.

Oral history interview with Mary M. Shaw conducted by Barbara Tabach on September 02, 2011 and November 14, 2011 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Shaw discusses her husband, Rollin, his work at the Nevada Test Site, and moving to various locations for his job. She also tells stories of the Shaws and their fellow Nevada Test Site employees’ parties, of her learning to paint with watercolors, and her children’s educations in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Patsy Huff Rosenberry conducted by Barbara Tabach on February 24, 2013 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Rosenberry discusses her husband, Chuck, who worked as a nuclear technologist at the Nevada Test Site, and her work for a group of cardiovascular doctors. Rosenberry also talks about racism in Las Vegas, Nevada and in the southern states of the United States.

Oral history interview with Dr. Leonard Kreisler conducted by Barbara Tabach on May 23, 2016 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Kreisler talks about moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1973, working at the Nevada Test Site, his involvement with the University Medical Center, and other medical community topics.
